Delta Hydraulics has expertise throughout the hydraulic fields. Whether it is repairs for a complete catastrophic failure of hydraulic systems or piping installations, we have a broad range of experiences.
We completed a crane overhaul of a hydraulic system on a 150 ton Hydro Marine crane due to metal contamination. Responsibilities were to remove all hydraulic components and remove contamination from the hydraulic system. This project included replacement of all hosing, removing and cleaning all servo valves and proportional valves, cleaning and resealing all holding – counter balance – relief – crossover relief – valves, cleaning and flushing manifolds, rebuilding hydraulic winch motor, replacement of 4 slewing motors, cleaning and rebuilding winch brakes, accumulator cleaning and bladder replacement, heat exchanger removal and flushing, cleaning hydraulic tank, pipe flushing, complete removal and rebuild of 4 Rexroth pumps, removal and rebuild of 4 hydraulic cylinders, cleaning of 2,500 gal tank, suction and pressure filter replacement, filtration of replacement hydraulic oil, and complete reseal of all connections. After the reinstallation and removal of all contamination, system pressures were readjusted to meet customers’ needs.
Whether it is in the marine field or on land, piping installation is another one of our many areas of expertise. Whether metric or standard piping, we can bind and install a vast majority of different sizes and types of tubing. On site bending capability would include 1/2 to 3’’ schedule 160. This is performed with our two mobile pipe binders and flaring machines. Also some of our piping installations have included: installing schedule 80 socket welding pipe for assembly line facility. Task at hand included: complete engineering of pipe installation; organizing and inventorying parts to be used; making sure parts were on location prior to job startup; wielding and mounting various piping clamps; binding tubing from 30MM to 66MM, and mounting pipe overhead and/or floor mount; making jump connection with hydraulic hosing; configuring flow control – flow divider – pressure relief – accumulator sizes – HUP; mounting directional control valves; hot pickling of piping in some applications; looping to flush system prior to startup.
